Today, January 13, the Rotary Club of Rose Garden, in collaboration with UTSA, undertook a philanthropic initiative to enhance the well-being of the students at Anant Primary School. The dedicated team from the Rotary Club conducted blanket distribution and handwashing activities, creating a positive impact on the lives of 70 students.
The primary focus of the initiative was to impart proper hand hygiene practices, emphasizing the importance of germ-free hands, especially before and after meals. This educational session sought to instil lifelong habits contributing to overall health and well-being.
The Rotary Club of Rose Garden, led by Rtn, Shahinul Isalm Shahin, President of the club, spearheaded the event. The distinguished team included Rtn. Dr. Shahana Begum, Past President; Rtn. Shaila Mahmud, Past President; Rtn. Alyea Chowdhury, Past President; Rtn. Dr. Monir Azad, Past President; and Rtn. Ashpaqul Islam, Professor Dr. Wahid Al Mamun from Nobel Nursing College Chattogram, MD. Anwar Hossain, Manager-Admin and Finance at UTSA, Muhammad Shah Alam, Program Coordinator at UTSA and School Teacher Bristi Akter and Sraboni Dash.
